| Celebrating 20th anniversary of Independence: Evolution of Azerbaijan’s foreign policy |
 Senior Conference
On 25th of November, NISA has organized a Senior Conference which was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s independence. NATO International School of Azerbaijan views 20 years date as a significant milestone and deemed it necessary to discuss evolution of Azerbaijan’s foreign policy at this point. 
Main speakers during the Conference were: Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, H.E. Mr. Araz Azimov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan H.E. Mr. Hafiz Pashayev, NATO’s Assistant Secretary General for Defense Policy and Planning H.E. Mr. Huseyn Dirioz, Ambassador of Romania to the Republic of Azerbaijan H.E. Mr. Daniel Ciobanu, Vice Rector of Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy Dr. Fariz Ismailzade, professor of Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy Dr. Anar Valiyev.
The conference was also attended by the ambassadors of Republic of Turkey, Georgian Republic, Kingdom of Netherlands. Kingdom of Norway, Russian Federation, Federative Republic of Germany, Ukraine, Republic of Moldova, Republic of Poland, Republic of Italia, Hellenic Republic, as well as representatives of embassies of United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, French Republic, Republic of Bulgaria, Republic of Tajikistan. Many active members of NISA: students of Baku State University, Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
